It often takes the slowest, narrowest, and laziest road it can find. It also turns off onto other narrow lanes on a hunch. In fact, it’s amazing how right those hunches often are. In the city, this website heads for the side streets. That’s where the architecture is. That’s where you go for the fragrances of fresh-baked bread. That’s where you find tiny markets crammed with delicacies, and sidewalk cafes loaded with omelettes and conversation, and bookstores that just draw you in and keep you there. That’s where you go for people-watching at its best. Wherever this website goes, whether in the country, or in the city, it invariably, habitually, stubbornly, and always takes the scenic route.
